How do I apply and register for the Body Heat 1 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training?
Interested candidates must submit an application and attend one of the scheduled Open House Information Sessions and/or a one-on-one interview with the teacher training director. Candidates will be notified of their acceptance into the program during their one-on-one interview. Once accepted into the program, a $200 deposit must be paid to the studio directly in order to secure a spot in an upcoming training of the candidate’s choice. The $200 non-refundable deposit will be deducted from the program tuition cost.

What happens if I miss one of the training sessions?
To receive a certificate of completion, candidates must complete all of the training requirements in order to comply with the Yoga Alliance standards for Registered Yoga Schools and Teachers. Unforeseen circumstances, emergencies, and conflicts are sometimes unavoidable, and we recognize that our students are involved with other obligations and commitments outside of yoga; therefore, options are available on a case by case basis for making up missed sessions and completing the program requirements. To make the most of your experience in the training, we strongly encourage you to prioritize your commitment to the training and attend all of the scheduled sessions.
How much does the 200-Hour Body Heat 1 Yoga Teacher Training cost?
Body Heat offers one of the most affordable and flexible teacher training programs in the country. The full price of the 200- Hour Body Heat Teacher Training tuition for Las Vegas is $3,100. See front desk for early bird discount details. Of that cost $200 non-refundable deposit is required prior to the program start date to secure a spot in the training. The remaining balance can be paid in full upfront or broken down into payments throughout the training. Unless a special payment plan has been made all fees are due in full by the 4th week of training. If full tuition is not paid by the 4th week termination out of the program can occur and student will not receive any refunds. Our compassionate program facilitators are here to support you with flexible options to suit your given situation and ensure your participation in the program. We offer no money back if you are unsatisfied with the program for any reason. Please talk to a program adviser to make sure this program is best for you.
What is in included in the cost of training?
The tuition fee includes full participation in the teacher training program, free unlimited yoga at any of the Body Heat studios for the duration of the training, and a comprehensive teacher training manual. Once all training requirements are completed, graduates receive a certificate of completion that can be used as official documentation to register with Yoga Alliance as a 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200).
How much experience practicing yoga is required to participate in the program?
The Body Heat Hot Pilates & Yoga® Teacher Training program includes a vigorous practice schedule. We strongly recommend that applicants have a solid and consistent BH1/BH2, Power Flow Yoga, or Vinyasa-style practice. If you are new to yoga, spend a few months practicing BH1/BH2, Power Flow, or Vinyasa-style yoga and learning the basics of this style prior to participating in the Body Heat 1 yoga teacher training and learning how to teach it. If you are unsure of your readiness to participate, attend a BH1 or BH2 class taught by one of our program facilitators, introduce yourself to the instructor before class, inform them of your interest in participating in the training, and ask them for guidance. Our program facilitators can observe your participation in their class and offer you feedback on whether or not participating in a teacher training program would be appropriate for your level of practice at this time.
What is the average teacher training class size and student demographic?
The average class size of a Body Heat Yoga Teacher training ranges between 10-20 students. Our students come from a very diverse range of professional occupations, social standings, yoga practice history, ages, and levels of experience. Our program is designed to cater to a variety of learning styles and structured uniquely to help our students attain their individualized teacher training goals.
What is Yoga Alliance?
Yoga Alliance® is an internationally recognized organization founded in 1999, which registers yoga teachers and yoga schools in order to maintain certain standards in the yoga industry. The credentials that Yoga Alliance has set up for yoga teachers and yoga schools establish criteria for fairness, quality, competence, and safety in professional services provided by schools and individuals who teach yoga. Currently, there is no formal licensing procedure required to teach yoga as a profession in the United States. Yoga Alliance is the premier form of recognition given to a yoga teacher or yoga school in order to uphold the integrity of the yoga tradition. Body Heat Hot Pilates & Yoga® is an RYS® (Registered Yoga School), which provides a 200-hour training program that meets Yoga Alliance standards for certification. Graduates of this training program may register with Yoga Alliance to be listed on their website as an RYT-200 (Registered Yoga Teacher) for a nominal fee. Will I be qualified to teach yoga after completing the Body Heat 1 200-Hour Yoga Teacher training?
One of the main distinguishing factors and goals of the teacher training program at Body Heat is that our graduates leave the program feeling ready to teach their own classes, equipped with all the tools they need to be exceptional yoga teachers. After participation in instructional sessions, practice sessions, (OM)Work assignments, mentor meetings, assisting/observing hours, exams, and full tuition payment, you will receive a Certificate of Completion from Body Heat verifying your successful completion of the Body Heat Hot Pilates & Yoga®, Body Heat 1 - 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program. You may use this official document to register with Yoga Alliance at the 200-Hour level as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200). Yoga Alliance is internationally recognized for maintaining industry standards for yoga teachers and yoga schools. Many studios, gyms, and students require that their teachers be registered with Yoga Alliance. Aside the benefit of gaining knowledge and training to deepen your personal practice, becoming certified through Body Heat Hot Pilates & Yoga® could lead to a fun side job as a yoga teacher or a fulfilling lifelong career in yoga!
Will I have the opportunity to teach at Body Heat after completing the 200-Hour Body Heat 1 Yoga Teacher Training?
The teachers at Body Heat Hot Pilates & Yoga® come from diverse yoga practice, training, and certification backgrounds. The Body Heat team maintains rigorous standards for its faculty, and selectively chooses teachers who uphold the highest standards of quality in all teaching areas and the general principals of Body Heat Hot Pilates & Yoga®. After completion of this program all participates are encouraged to audition but guaranteed no teaching opportunities.
