Classes

At Body Heat Hot Pilates & Yoga our classes are taught in a state of the art environment with a heating and humidifying equipment that maintains the optimum atmosphere for the classes offered at Body Heat. This system also refreshes the air when needed to obtain a clean odor free studio to enhance your practice. Our cozy, spa like ambiance is warm and inviting to both men and women. Each class is individually choreographed to teachers choice of music that will compliment each class. We appeal to both the yogi who has been practicing for many years, athletes looking to add flexibility and detoxification to their workout and to the person who has never practiced hot pilates or yoga.

HOT PILATES / HOT PILATES EXTREME

Body Heat’s Hot Pilates 60 minute class promises to sculpt and tone your body, strengthen the core and improve your cardiovascular system.  Hot Pilates will burn hundreds of calories by focusing on cardio circuit and tabata training and promote more lean sculpted muscles. This class is taught in 100 degrees with 40% humidity.  While all Body Heat’s classes are choreographed to inspirational music this class is high energy, upbeat and the most fun you will have while sweating with your clothes on!

BODY HEAT 1

Designed for anyone who is new to yoga or is interested in further instruction on postures and breath, this is a beginner 60 minute level yoga class that will help build strength and flexibility.  Body Heat 1 is slightly heated to 90-95 degrees with minimal humidity.  This class is a great way to introduce heat into your practice.

BODY HEAT 2

Be ready to sweat and move!!!  This heated power flow rigorous intermediate 60 minute yoga class will challenge and energize your mind and body.   This class detoxifies, strengthens and burns calories.  Set to energizing music.  Room temperature is 98-102 degrees with 40% humidity.

BODY HEAT 3

Are you ready to take your yoga practice to the next level?  This intermediate / advanced heated power flow 60 minute class takes all of the elements of our intermediate level class and incorporates more advanced postures, deeper alignment and more exploration of breath.  This class will challenge even the most experienced yogis and yoginis.  Room temperature is 98-102 and 40% humidity.

HOT 26

Body Heat’s Hot 26 is our only 75 minute class we offer.  It is a set series of 26 postures performed in a precise order, set to music, in a heated room of 105 degrees with 40% humidity.  This class works the entire body, toning muscles, promoting weight loss and reducing stress.  All levels of practitioners welcome.

YOGA SCULPT (Heated Power Yoga w/weights)

Body Heats Yoga Sculpt 60 minute class is a total body work out designed to tone and sculpt every major muscle group. Using provided dumb bells you will move through sun salutations, squats, lunges, bicep and tricep curls and other yoga postures, enabling additional length and depth to each pose. This class firms butts, tone arms, this tightens, and flattens tummies.  This unique combination of yoga and strength training promotes greater long term effects on your metabolism and weight loss through building lean muscle mass. This class is taught in 100 degree and 40% humidity.

HOT POWER FUSION

Body Heat’s 60 minute Hot Power Fusion class incorporates the traditional, more meditative and restorative, 26 static hot yoga poses with an energizing and challenging flow. Taught in a room heated to 103 degrees with 40% humidity, this class offers all the  detoxifying, joint opening, and upper body & core strengthening benefits of held postures while adding a modified vinyasa flow to increase the heart rate and build internal heat.  Please show up fully hydrated and ready to sweat!  All levels of practitioners welcome.

CANDLELIGHT

This class is designed to detoxify, recharge and restore the body, mind and soul.  Set to tranquil music in a heated room lit only with candles, this intimate class will focus on body awareness and breath while exploring the meditative qualities of yoga.  In this class you will practice relaxing into the deepest layers of the body to find a state of release, surrender and calm.  Melt the day away with the simplicity and beauty of this gentle healing practice.  All levels are welcomed and encouraged to join our candlelight class.

BAREFOOT BOOT CAMP

This total body workout class is designed to burn fat and calories!  The 60 minute class will consist of a  warm up, cardio blast, weights, abs, and a cool down.  Done to loud music, with lots of energy.  Room temperture will be 98-101 degrees with 30-40% humidity.  Plan to sweat like crazy while working every muscle group!
